Tom McFarland

Prior to Jungle’s critical and commercial success, Tom McFarland was already honing his craft scoring films and documentaries.

Tom studied composition as part of his BA Music degree at the University of Sussex; a degree which enabled him to develop a dynamic and well-rounded style, and led to him scoring 3 documentaries and 2 short films before embarking on a professional career in music. Elements of Tom’s experience in this area can be heard in the cinematic nature of Jungle’s output.

Tom is currently putting the finishing touches to the score for a new documentary on the celebrated IOC refugee olympic team; working with with oscar-nominated director and producer team Waad Al-Kateab and Joanna Natasegara of Violet Films; as well as a forthcoming Netflix production being announced later this year.

Alongside this Tom is also a talented producer and songwriter, most recently working with the likes of Alfie Templeman, Poppy Ajudha and Olivia Dean amongst others.
