Tucan
Tucan’s mixing work is held in high regard - along with critically acclaimed Superorganism releases he has worked with Verdigris artists Jungle, Hot Chip, Bea and Her Business, Priya Ragu, Kero Kero Bonito, Sports, Cryalot and LA Priest and a wide range of others including Rizzle Kicks, Kishi Bashi, Aluna and Jayda G, Paco Versailles, EJ Worland, Dan Dlion, Pixey, Griff, Chong The Nomad, Faux Real, Spirits of Saturn, High Hi and more.
Spending his formative years producing and mixing records for various artists in New Zealand, East London-based Tucan gained traction internationally as a member of Superorganism (the collective behind one of the most critically acclaimed debut albums of 2018, as well as collaborations with the likes of Gorillaz, Hot Chip and Gen Hoshino, the latter winning a space shower music award for best collaboration with Superorganism). With the band now inactive he is back full time behind the mixing desk.
His work has charted in several countries and has been playlisted on international radio and Spotify's New Music Fridays all over the world, had placement on major TV networks and ad campaigns, plus film placements and game placements including FIFA and The Sims (including the trailer). He has worked with labels including Domino, Chess Club, Joyful Noise, Mad Decent, Warner Music, Sony Music plus many independent artists.
